The Maze Teak Extending Dining Table features an innovative staggered expansion design, allowing it to adapt to gatherings of various sizes. With the ability to extend to two different lengths, it can seat up to 8 guests at the first extended length, and up to 10 guests when fully extended. Paired with 10 Oxford Heritage Rattan Dining Chairs, this mixed materials garden furniture dining set offers both style and functionality.
The table is topped with a premium teak surface, adding warmth and a natural aesthetic to its dark grey framework. The rich teak tones harmonise beautifully with the lighter tones of the dining set, creating a cohesive and elegant outdoor dining experience. The tabletop consists of three components to accommodate its different extension levels, with each section neatly stored in concealed shelving beneath the tabletop when not in use.

Understand the Nature of Wood
Our wooden furniture, including the Bali, Martinique, and Porto collections, features a light PU coating for added protection. However, wood is a natural material and may develop cracks and splits over time as it expands and contracts. By purchasing this, you are acknowledging and accepting that splitting and cracking are natural characteristics of wood and are not covered under the warranty. These natural occurrences do not affect the structural integrity or durability of the furniture.
Regular Cleaning
Keep your wooden furniture clean by wiping it regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For deeper cleaning or added protection, you may use a suitable wood-care product designed for outdoor wooden furniture.
Seasonal Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your furniture, treat the wood twice a year using proper wood oils suitable for outdoor wooden furniture. In some cases, you may need to lightly sand the surface before applying the oil to ensure even absorption and the best finish.
Avoid Using Covers
We do not recommend using covers on our wooden furniture. Covers can trap moisture, leading to mould, warping, and other damage. Using covers will void the warranty, and any damage caused as a result will not be covered. Regular cleaning and proper seasonal maintenance, as outlined above, are the best ways to preserve your furniture.
Natural Colour Changes
Untreated or naturally finished wood may experience colour changes over time due to exposure to sunlight and varying weather conditions. This natural ageing process adds character and uniqueness to the furniture. With the correct care, including appropriate seasonal oiling, these changes can be minimised.
Caring for Your Rattan
Rattan furniture is designed for outdoor durability, but it will naturally collect dirt and dust—especially after winter storage or when kept under covers.
To clean your rattan furniture:
- Use a jet wash to rinse off loose dirt and debris
- Gently clean with a sponge and warm soapy water
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry
For a deeper clean, you can also use a specialist rattan cleaning kit designed for outdoor furniture.
Does Rattan Expand and Contract?
Yes—this is completely normal.
Rattan naturally expands in warmer temperatures and contracts as it cools. This flexibility:
- Helps prevent the weave from becoming brittle
- Reduces the risk of cracking or snapping during colder months
This is a key feature of quality rattan furniture and helps maintain its structure over time.
Cushion Care

To keep your cushions fresh and clean:
- Use warm soapy water and a clean cloth for spot cleaning
- Gently wipe down the fabric and remove any dirt or marks
- Allow cushions to air dry completely before use
Important:
- Cushions are not machine washable
- Do not tumble dry

Outdoor glass can gather dust, dirt, and mildew due to changing weather conditions.
To clean:

For best results, a specialist outdoor glass cleaner can be used to maintain clarity and shine.
General Maintenance Tips
- Clean your furniture regularly to prevent build-up of dirt
- Allow all materials to dry fully after cleaning or rain
- Store or cover furniture during prolonged periods of non-use
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that may damage finishes
Standard Delivery
Please allow our courier partners 10 working days to deliver your item(s) to your delivery address. After your order has been dispatched, you will then receive further communication from Maze Living or our courier partners providing you with further details of your delivery. 'Standard delivery', on orders containing small accessories only, will be delivered by DX or a similar courier. Orders including large items will be delivered by a 2-man team who will carry your items to a place of your choice, outside, if accessible.
Pallet Delivery
If it is available and you change the delivery to a 'Pallet Delivery', your order can be delivered in as little as 2-3 working days (cut off for 2 days is 11am every weekday). Pallet deliveries differ in that your order will be left kerbside on pallets outside your address and does not include any optional extra services or pallet disposal. By selecting this option, you agree to this, and that a large lorry can access the road outside your property. You may need a minimum of 2 people to move large/heavy items.
However.... stock can run out fast at times so keep an eye out for the 'Going Fast' badge. This is genuine and means we really are running out of stock.

This fabric garden furniture cleaner is a fast acting cleaning solution which will clean dirt and grime from all brands of all weather fabric including La Vita and Sunbrella. In addition, we have now included a water resistant lining inside the box which will provide extra protection for your cushions. Please note the box is not fully waterproof. We do, however, advise that during prolonged periods of non-use or poor weather that the cushions are stored indoors.
