Cleaning Your Outdoor Fabric Cushions
For everyday spills and marks:
- Clean immediately using warm soapy water
- Use a soft cloth or sponge to gently wipe the area
- Most spills will lift easily due to the fabric’s protective properties
For general cleaning after periods of outdoor exposure:
- Use a jet washer on a low/soft setting
- Keep a safe distance to avoid damaging the fabric
- Follow up with a specialist cleaning solution, such as the Maze Outdoor Fabric Cleaning & Protector Kit, to restore the fabric’s finish
Removing Stubborn Stains
For tougher stains that won’t lift with standard cleaning:
Mix:
- 150ml bleach
- 40ml mild soap
- 2 litres of water
- Apply gently to the affected area using a cloth or soft brush
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Tip: Always test on a small, hidden area first to ensure colour retention.
Drying Your Furniture
- Allow cushions and fabric to air dry naturally after cleaning or rainfall
- Drying time will vary depending on:
- Weather conditions
- Humidity
- Sunlight exposure
The quick-dry properties of the fabric help prevent prolonged dampness.
Caring for Aluminium Frames
During winter or storage, aluminium frames may collect dust and dirt:
- Clean using warm soapy water and a sponge
- Rinse if necessary and allow to air dry (typically within an hour)
Cleaning Ceramic Tempered Glass
Outdoor glass surfaces may gather dust or mildew over time:
- Clean with a warm soapy cloth
- Use a separate damp cloth to polish and remove residue
- Allow to air dry for a streak-free finish
A dedicated glass cleaner, such as the Maze Outdoor Garden Furniture Glass Cleaner, can be used for enhanced results.
General Maintenance Tips
- Clean your set regularly to prevent build-up of dirt and mildew
- Use protective covers during prolonged periods of non-use if desired
- Ensure furniture is dry before covering
- Avoid harsh abrasives or strong chemicals (unless specified for stain removal)
Goods you have ordered will be delivered direct to the billing address. Standard delivery is usually within 7 - 10 working days, but you can change this to a pallet delivery, which could be delivered in as little as 2-3 working days. Standard Delivery
Please allow our courier partners 10 working days to deliver your item(s) to your delivery address. After your order has been dispatched, you will then receive further communication from Maze Living or our courier partners providing you with further details of your delivery. 'Standard delivery', on orders containing small accessories only, will be delivered by DX or a similar courier. Orders including large items will be delivered by a 2-man team who will carry your items to a place of your choice, outside, if accessible. They will remove the packaging and build your items, if you have purchased these extra services.
Pallet Delivery
If it is available and you change the delivery to a 'Pallet Delivery', your order can be delivered in as little as 2-3 working days (cut off for 2 days is 11am every weekday). Pallet deliveries differ in that your order will be left kerbside on pallets outside your address and does not include any optional extra services or pallet disposal. By selecting this option, you agree to this, and that a large lorry can access the road outside your property. You may need a minimum of 2 people to move large/heavy items.
However.... stock can run out fast at times so keep an eye out for the 'Going Fast' badge. This is genuine and means we really are running out of stock.
Platinum Assembly 2 people Delivery to garden Packaging Removal Furniture Assembly
Our 2 Man Team Platinum service can deliver directly to your garden, assembling your new garden furniture sets and even take away your packaging, save yourself a trip to the tip and let us do the hard work! You will also receive a call from your delivery driver 30 minutes before they are due to arrive, so you will know when to expect them.
